Mental Conception

Mental Conception

Vision is apart of preparation. The GOD of all Creation designed all phenomenally great things to start through a microcosmic state of development those later blossoms to its full potential. When GOD decided to bring salvation into the World, it was done through the seed of Abraham and birthed through a woman.

Who would’ve ever thought that the GOD of all Creation who inhabits eternity would take on the form of a servant being transformed into an embryo birthed through a woman igniting the master plan that would bring salvation to the human family?

It is written “Do not despise these small beginnings, for YAHWEH rejoices to see the work begin” Zech 4:10. The work begins in the mind. The scripture states that lust starts in the mind, is conceived then brings forth sin and eventually, death. If this is the case, righteous thoughts also begin in the mind and they will bring forth righteous works thereby bringing forth life. Vain Imaginations must be cast down according to the WORD OF GOD. So then, thoughts of purpose then must be built up.

Every creative idea and thought is full of purpose. This is why the influences that you allow to infiltrate your thinking are so important.  Your influences often trigger thoughts that contribute to your experiences and choices.

Your mind houses the spirit, the essence of your inner man that must be renewed by GOD daily.  You cannot afford to waste your mind and experiences with things that do not build your character for the many great things that GOD has in store for us.

There are exceeding great and precious promises that are in store to be manifest through the Salvation of The Messiah that awaits us. Your mind must be ready to become the person that will be able to utilize the gifts afforded to your destiny.

Our untapped potential is birthed through the thoughts of our mind. Are your thoughts bringing forth productivity that is purposeful?  Are your wasting your time and energy with things that do not profit? Are your thoughts contributing to your ultimate destiny?

Take time to think apart from the hustle and bustle of these busy days. Treasure your thoughts, allow them to nourish and enrich your day. Alleviate many of the influences that will not contribute your greatness and the fulfillment of your ultimate purpose.

Race

Image

The idea of classifying human beings by their physical features is not an ancient concept. Men at one point in history were grouped by their  native lands. It was not until the 17th century when Europeans needed to justify slavery and colonization thereby convincing their constituency that African People along with other groups  were inferior or less than human.

Because of this, the idea that people are classified by their skin or their ethnicity denotes the idea that one group of people are inferior or superior than the other.

Why are human beings “classified?”  Are we not all made in the Image and Likeness our our Maker? This is why racism exist across the world.  It is embedded into our culture,  our society, our world. The fact that the continent that thought to “classify” humanity has covered the world with their idealism, race will be an issue until the next Global initiative which according to GOD’s word, will be return of The Savior of All mankind, YAHSHUA the Messiah (Christ).

Until then, every human being is forced to recognize race.  In doing so it is done with the connotation that one race is inferior or superior and men will continue to operate as such.

So men will continue to justify their humanity while others will attempt to assume their superiority.  This is why we kill based on race, why we segregate our neighborhoods, our schools, our offices, our television shows and our cultures.  This is why we identify our differences and act upon them rather than expound on our likenesses, for we are the Image and Likeness of GOD!

The Offspring of GOD was never made to be “classified” but made to be the heirs of GOD’s Kingdom, the nephesh  (heb. the soul, living breathing creature) that holds the breathe that is inspired by the ALMIGHTY GOD to  partake of his divine nature, then to hold  the rightful position as the inheritance of the Government and Kingdom of GOD!

Motivational Hope

Image

According to a recent Gallup, 70% of workers polled hate their jobs or are disengaged with their current job. The numbers show that although many of us are educated, and driven to pursue our “dream” job, the fact of the matter is, our jobs are unfulfilling and dissatisfying.  We were meant for more.

It is sad to go to college, plummet yourself in debt just to get a job that stresses you out or make your days long, or make you feel like your ideas or contributions or not valued.

The Gallup Poll stems from professional workers like managers, executives, officials, physicians, nurses, teachers, office workers, government workers, sale workers, and service, manufacture and transportation workers. Roughly 25 million workers were polled.  Out of that, 70 percent did not like their job!

Because of this it is very hard for a lot of men and women to get out of bed and go to work. Good men and women know they have a responsibility, they have to pay bills, put food on the table for their children, take care of things, put things in order, and make things happen. It’s a real grind.

There are 365 days in the year, out of those days; the majority of us are working for approximately 260 of them with the possibility of getting 14 to 20 days to take of our own time or because we are sick.  That is over 70 percent.  It’s very hard for us to stay motivated when we have to work harder to get more and grind more to climb that ladder. What we give and sacrifice for more money pales in comparison to the time we lose and stress that we gain.  It takes its tolls on us. At any time our employers can decide that they no longer need our services and we have to start all over again.

Ultimately, you can never be fulfilled from the “nine to five. “  You were not created to push pens, pull strings or take notes.  Your creative mind, imagination, talent and determination was made to exceed far above what you can ask or think according to the power that is able to work inside of you.

Your employment has no bearing on your greatness. You are not a failure because you did not get a promotion or because you were overlooked. We were made to receive the adoption into the glorious liberty of the SONS OF GOD.

You have a reason to be motivated, because The Creator is choosing his family to inherit the ultimate ruler ship in his everlasting Kingdom while they are in this present evil world. Every day GOD is conforming his chosen ones into his Image so that his Creation will be filled with His glory as the waters cover the seas.  We must continue to grind. Although we are underpaid and unappreciated, the steps that have been ordered for us are working in us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Health Care might be costly, gas might be expensive, and food prices are rising every day.  The wealth gap has widened more than ever before.  However, as long as there is a Creator and his purpose is instilled in us with every waking day that we live, we can overcome and endure anything.

We can  stay motivated, not my money, not by prestige but  by the hope of the GLORY OF GOD which will allow us to inherit, rule and govern the Kingdom that was created for us before the foundation of the world.

Life’s Trajectory

Image

A trajectory is a path, progression, or line of development resembling a physical trajectory. A physical trajectory is a curved path which something takes as it moves through the air or through space.  The idea behind space flight, for example, is that if enough force is propelled onto an object to move it to a place where the force of gravity isn’t as great, the object can continue in motion.  A trajectory is determined by the projectile’s influence. The projectile is the object that is moved, dropped, thrown or even fired -like a gun or a rocket- and its main influence is the force of gravity.

A projectile’s path can only be influenced by gravity. What stronger force is there on the planet that we live on?  Gravity can never be defied, it has to be overcome.  The only way that a projectile to fly is to be lighter than the pull of gravity or to have more force to propel over the force of gravity.  The fact that an item flies does not mean that it contradicts the laws of gravity, just that it does what is necessary to continue its movement against the pull of the atmosphere.

Trajectory planning must be thought out, calculated, and prepared. Everything is weighed to determine the path and destination. The timing, the target point, the ability to avoid obstacles and collision makes the planning difficult but possible.  The most effective determinant in the trajectory of a projectile is what is called the “manipulator.” The manipulator determines the force behind the projectile and the location of the starting point of the projectile.

The path of a trajectory is never straight. Because of gravity and other factors like wind gust and the form of the projectile itself, the path is often curved. The path can vary in so many ways. The important thing is the beginning point and the end point. The main factor in a trajectory is that the projective ends up at its designated source.

In life there are so many avenues and directions that we are pulled in and so many things that carry us in directions that we don’t want to go in. If the road in life could go in a straight path life would be very predictable, and at times boring. Life however is a journey. Our journey consists of many winding roads, turns, curves, hills and valleys.  There are also obstacles that attempt to deter us from reaching the end point of our destination.

What we must rely on is the fact that the source of our manipulation is stronger than the forces and the obstacles that stand against us to prevent us from our purpose. The scriptures indicate that we were chosen in him before the foundation of the world. It is also written that those whom GOD has known in advance, he has justified and are conforming them into his Image and likeness. Because of this, ALL THINGS are working together for our good.  The “good”  indicates that  our ultimate destiny and   purpose of our existence for being joint heirs to GOD’s Kingdom according to the previous chapters in Romans 8.

  It is written

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,
says YAHWEH ,plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.” (Jer 29:11 Complete Jewish Bible).

Our lives at times can seem so out of control because of the variances of winds, and obstacles that can seem to offset our journey. All these things that we face have been pre-calculated by the Manipulator and Creator of all things that are working for our good. The GOD of All Heaven and Earth, whose name is YAHWEH has ordered our steps and have set us on a path for ultimate victory. The path also creates in us a character of greatness and fortitude where we are able to govern in the Kingdom of The Most High.

Our problems, failures, anxieties, insecurities, past, present and future decisions have all been weighed out and predetermined before the Manipulator of our trajectory even set us in motion.

Every day we are set out on the path to greatness. Because of this, every day we must know that “All things are working together for the good to them who love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Rom 8:28

Dominion

Image

Every man and woman was made to lead in some capacity.  Our ability to lead is not based on our job, choice of career or position in society but our construct, being the offspring of the Creator and King of the Universe.

The Creator gave a command to his Creation that Man should have dominion over it. Man was blessed and then given the mandate to fill the Earth and subdue it.  Mankind is the main recipient of the awesome creation of GOD, The designated ruler of all creation, charged and given the authority over the works of GOD’s hands; Empowered by WORD and Will of GOD.

Man was not made to be subservient.  Man was not made to be doormats, a peon, a servant of anything. Man was created to  rule creation, seen and unseen, angels, heavenly beings, earthly beings, become extra-terrestrial, an unobtainable force of supreme divine power.  This only takes place through the Power of GOD’s Holy Spirit, given to those who are obedient.

Rarely are things that that GOD made for us are if ever handed to us. The first man Adam was placed in the garden but had to overcome the wiles of the Satan, serpent and protect his family from its influences also .  The Children of Israel were promised a land flowing with milk and honey but had to endure the great and terrible wilderness.

In the same connation, man’s dominion was predicated on man’s willingness and perseverance to subdue all that he encountered. Man, the pre-eminent overseer of GOD’s creation had a task to overcome every challenge that he faced.

Planet Earth does not exist absent of daily challenges that seek to keep mankind from his ultimate goal of obtaining the dominion over GOD’s creation.  There is a force that we wrestle against daily; there are rulers, authorities, cosmic powers that govern the unseen and spiritual forces of the evil in the heavenly realm.

GOD has empowered us through his word and through his Holy Spirit that we can overcome the elements that seek to stop us from obtaining the character that is needed to inherit the Kingdom of GOD. However, daily we must be mindful to put on the Whole Armor of GOD that we may be able to stand against wiles of the mighty one of this Earth, Satan the Devil.

Every day, our steps have been designed for us to overcome and subdue anything that stands against us. There are experiences that we face that will bring about discouragement and attempt to refrain us from our ultimate goal and purpose, The Kingdom of our Eternal GOD that we were created to inherit.

We cannot allow discouragement to overtake us, when we see that our money or career is not taking off the way we wished for it to be. However, the dominion and authority we are to inherit is predicated by our business resume, our annual income, or status in society.

Everyman has a custom made path that we must travel and endure, so that when all is accomplished we have obtained the mind of Christ that will grant us the faith in victory to overcome the world.

Dominion is the result of a daily grind to stand against the adversity, weaknesses, sins, and   negative circumstances that will remove us from the hope of our calling. However, we have been given a charge to keep, and a GOD to glorify, and a crown to inherit. Let us subdue and take our dominion.

When there is Life There is Hope

What everyone can learn from the life of Nelson Mandela

On December 5, 2013 we lost a great leader, Nelson Mandela.  This man through his efforts and determination exposed the world to the hatred of Apartheid that went on by the fierce and brutal regime of South Africa.

Mandela led a revolutionary stance against Apartheid and was imprisoned for 27 years. Mandela was  charged with inciting worker strikes, leaving the country without permission, sabotage and conspiracy to overthrow the government.  Mandela was found guilty of all four charges and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Nelson Mandela was imprisoned from June 12 1964 until February 11, 1990. 27 years of his life was spent imprisoned because of what he believed. Nelson Mandela didn’t view this sentence as punishment but he saw it as an opportunity to bring light to his cause,  stating

“In a way I had never quite comprehended before, I realized the role I could play in court and the possibilities before me as a defendant. I was the symbol of justice in the court of the oppressor, the representative of the great ideals of freedom, fairness and democracy in a society that dishonored those virtues. I realized then and there that I could carry on the fight even in the fortress of the enemy.” (Mandela ,1994 pg 458)

We will hear many great things about Mandela since his passing. What many will fail to mention is that he is an ex-convict that was falsely imprisoned. Nelson Mandela did not allow the 27 years of incarceration to grow and fester bitterness and anger that could have crippled his vision. He did not come out of jail and attempt to bash his incarcerators or incite riots. Mandela used the rest of his life to grow, succeed and accomplish. He became the President of South Africa, a global ambassador for his country as well as a phenomenal philanthropist.

In a country where men and woman who are incarcerated often come out to hopeless challenges, President Mandela exhibits that life is not over because a single solitary event holds a major portion of your life.  Life is too great to be confined to a prison cell, bankruptcy, divorce, or a job termination. Every day presents us with the opportunity to restart over again.

When an ex-felon does leaves from prison they still face many various challenges. Here are few things that stand against them.

  1. Your admission to public housing could be restricted, suspended or denied
  2. Social Security Benefits can be terminated
  3. Public Assistance can be restricted and removed
  4. The Higher Education Act of 1998 bars ex-felons from Pell Grants and large Federal Student Loans.
  5. You no longer have the right to vote

There are many difficult challenges to get back into a society that claims to be so “forgiving,” even though it is holds  the highest prison population in the world. However, The Creator of All Life designed the human spirit to hope in the midst of any adversity.

Many successfully men and women have gone on from the jail cell the Wall Street and board rooms. People like Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Charles Dutton, Anthony Divincezo, Dave Dahl, Adrienne Smalls, Robert Downey Jr, Matha Stewart, Don King, Augustus Turner all have redefined their lives by not allowing the past to define the future.

Joseph the Dreamer had dream years before it came to fruition. He was sold into slavery by his brothers, falsely convicted, incarcerated, released, elevated, promoted then facilitated a global initiative that saved millions.

GOD never designed one moment of our lives to exist without hope. It is written that we “rejoice in the hope of the GLORY OF GOD.”  (Roman 5:2) Anytime you stop hoping you are defying the purpose of your existence. To stop hoping is the same as to stop breathing.  The Creator subjugated us to hope.  Hope can only be real when you cannot see who things we develop or know what the outcome will be.  It is written –

“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” (Rom 8.24-25)

Oftentimes years pass by before we see the results of our hard work.  Our eternal destiny and purposed resides in the Hope of GOD’s Kingdom.  The thief next to The Messiah on his death bed asked that he be remembered when Our Savior entered into his Kingdom. YAHSHUA (Christ, the Messiah) answered him “TODAY YOU SHALL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE!”

You can never position yourself where you do not hope. Hope is the blood of visions; our destiny is far greater than our circumstances. Hope is the language that speaks to the motivation of our spirits and mandates we rise beyond our current state to position our minds for the greatness we have been created to obtain.

Romans Chapter 8

Luke 23

Genesis 37-50

CHANGE

The foundation of our Creator is consistency, however. GOD made his creation to evolve, reposition itself, expand, and grow both in physical attributes and mental development.  A tree grows and changes color but never moves positions. The weather patterns changes in the seasons but this transition takes place every year. A human is conceived through the seed of a man, takes form and then is birthed through the mother. However, once the child is conceived and developed they don’t change forms. There is no metamorphosis that takes place. A child may grow and develop but all changes are implemented from the genetic makeup of the male seed.

Change in life is inevitable, but real change must be rooted in consistency. This is the only change that is formidable and is manageable.  As we grow older, we become aware of the  axiomatic truths of change, yet many find it hard to deal with.

How do we deal with change? There are so many. Some we are prepared for, some are sudden, some sneak up on us, some we see coming. Good Companies send notifications well in advance of changes in order to provide a pleasant transition. Good Leaders can see change afar off, implement change when needed and foster an effective transition and recovery period.

As individuals we are subject to change. With this understanding,  we must embrace and prepare for.  You cannot stop the currents of change but you must adjust to it and ensure the core fiber of your existence is firm.

How can we deal with the currents of change?  Here are a few ways we can understand through the WORD OF GOD!

Ensure that your foundation is sure.

YAHSHUA (Christ, The Messiah) spoke a parable about a man who built his foundation on a rock. The ROCK being the WORD OF GOD  as opposed to sand being man’s own wisdom and understanding. The result being that through various changes of the atmosphere and environmental conditions,  a man’s home was able to stand because he was committed to ensure that his foundation was built upon a ROCK!  No one can see the foundation of a house. You cannot see how the foundation of a house is designed, neither can you see the ground that a house is built but it is the determinate factor of every building. In so much so, that YAHSHUA said that his Church, his community of believers would be built upon him as the foundation.   The core of your existence must be rooted in something that does not change. You cannot dress up the decor of a foundation of a house but it must be firm even though everything around can must change.  If your life is rooted in something that is unchanging, then drastic and aggressive storms that foster change will not intimidate you though it attempts to beat vehemently against your outer shell you will remain firm to you live the purpose you have been called for.  Your family, church, lifestyle and of course your understanding of GOD’s word and faith should be concrete.

Anticipate and Plan Effectively

It is written “Consider the Ant thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler provideth her meat in the summer and gather her food in the harvest.”  (Prov 6:6 )  Everything changes. Things change in business, in life and in music. The assumption that things will remain the same is foolish.  The scriptures advise us to “consider” meaning not to just look at but to inspect, perceive, inquire and acquire a vision.  Young men can acquire great wisdom but just watching their Fathers and understanding the mistakes that they have made in the past. Even if your father or mother is not in your life, you can inquire about their character and their mistakes.  A young person that anticipates becoming a successful parent should look to their parents. Inquire and see what caused a marriage to happen or not to happen. What caused a divorce and why or what role was played. It is written that there is nothing new under the sun but everything has a time and season.   Knowing this you are not the first one to have to deal with change and you won’t be the last. Every successful endeavor must be ahead of the currents of change by preparation.

There is no pain like the loss of a loved one. There is no remedy, nor advice that can remove that pain. However, there are things we do that add to the loss. If we as parents fail to plan and prepare for their departure not only will those of us left behind have to deal with their lost but also we will lack the necessary resources to ensure things are done in decency and order.  No one can take material possessions with them but to leave things for family to fight over can eventually tear a family apart.  Material things are just that, material but to deny that people see the sentiment in them is foolish.  The Creator often advised men to get their houses in order in the even before death. This was to ensure that everything was left to sufficient hands so that not only will the family take care of burial arrangements but to delegate the things that a person has worked hard to keep in place but to also ensure that their family is not ruined by greed and ignorance.

Parents must prepare for the times when their health is at decline. It is written remember thy “Creator in the days of thy youth before the evil days draw nigh and you say that I have no pleasure in them.” (Ecc 12:1).  This doesn’t mean that you can forget GOD as you age but what it does mean is that 50 is not 40, 60 is not 50, and 70 is not 60 years of age. We cannot let society and culture deceive us that GOD has not designed us to age so what we may hope in his eternal plan. Preparing for not only your death but life as you get older we make the transition better. How big is your home? How high is your car? How much maintenance has to be done to various things?  Do you have the strength to do it or should you sale your home? Are your children willing to take care of you?  Wisdom is not always given to those that are aged according to the scripture.

Core Value and Beliefs

It is written that children are tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about with every wind and doctrine by human cunning and crafty deception.  Maturity shows that you have a set standard of core beliefs that you won’t allow to be compromised. It is written that Heaven and Earth will pass away but the WORD OF GOD will endure forever.  The Apostle commanded his understudy to ensure that he was giving sound teaching to faithful men, faithful meaning reliable and credible men.  Sound wisdom and doctrine are for those that know the value of wisdom and will not compromise in fear of change.  Change was not meant for anyone to be intimidated or worried but as a process to understand that things don’t last and we must trust in the GOD of all Creation to grant us knowledge and anticipate a constant hope.  It is written hold fast to that which is good.  If you do this, change will not change YOU but will allow you to be effective regardless of the circumstances that take place.  During the motions of a bus, the passengers have no control over the movement of a vehicle but if the position on the bus is fixated either by a seat or holding on to the passenger bars they will arrive safely at their desired destination.  By holding on to what is written and ensuring that you are abiding according to that word of Faith, you will safely reach your destination.

Become an Expert

It is written the “expert has the advantage of his skill” (Ecc. 10:10 of the Complete Jewish Bible). An expert is defined as a “person who has comprehensive and authoritative knowledge or skill in a particular area.” No one should be committed to anything they have not sought superior knowledge regarding. If you commit to something that you have no knowledge of, you will not luck up on success. By having knowledge of who you are and what you are committed too, whether it is your marriage, career, your  faith, or parenting you will know how to  react to certain scenarios and know when the signs of change are coming.  Knowledge is under rated. The lack thereof destroys people.  Knowledge however requires studying and thereby can be very tiresome and burdensome. This is why it requires your commitment. Commitment is power and by knowing your field, and life you will be prepared for any change that takes place.

Embrace the Transition Process (Mature)

The Apostle said that when he became a man, he put away childish things. Meaning he didn’t allow himself to grow into a man with the understanding that he could at like a child. Too many adults grow up without understanding that a conscious effort is needed in order to change effectively. Nature tells a young man that he is getting older and growing. So a young man must learn, educate himself,  be serious about taking advice from his parents, learn to set priorities and practice decision making while he is young so that when he is older he will not continue to act like a child. When change starts to formulate it often does not happen at once. There are changes that we can create and changes that we do not influence but have an effect on us. Either way there is often a process involved with change. If we embrace the transition process we can be successful and change will not overwhelm us. With transition, observation becomes necessary. Asking questions like “what things can I keep that will help whereby I might be effective and what things I must let go of? If a person moves, will they keep everything from their old house or will they throw some things out and buy new? When a company makes technological advances, there are files that can be archived, placed in storage, or put into files and removed from their servers or in a data cloud. How do you prioritize memories, experience and information into your life and how will they affect you moving forward? Change is inevitable, if change is not sudden, you can utilize the gift of time to wisely adapt to the changes around you.

DO NOT IGNORE IT!

YAHSHUA made a statement to the Pharisees that asked for a sign or some type of iconic symbol that would confirm that he was the Messiah. YAHSHUA’s response to them was “Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?” Too often we can be so focused on a daily routine or a daily regimen that when something happens that will change everything we ignore the signs and fail to determine the reasoning. Very few times change comes without warning signs. Weather patterns are predictable, organizational changes are inevitable. A woman knows her spouse is changing, a good man knows when his wife is changing.  A good parent notices changes in their children. Life and behavior has patterns, anything outside of the patterns should render an alert.  The disciples asked YAHSHUA what shall be the signs of his coming. YAHSHUA advised them of several events that would take place around them for them to look and anticipate their redemption.  Are you observing the things around you? Do you know what changes that you will have to make in order to  adapt

RELY ON  THE VISION

When I first got married I was told one of my Pastors and Spiritual Advisor that you have to have a “vision” for your family. We often think that a “vision” has to be something that you have to go into a trance to receive. The Apostle states that “For now we see things obscurely in a mirror, but then it will be face to face. Now I know partly then I will know fully.”  Vision is the ability to perceive clearly. Some visions you can see clearly some you cannot. The perception of your vision determinates your ability to apt to change or to foster change for the better. Dreams must translate into visions. A dream can be easily forgotten or overlooked, however if you keep the dream at the forefront of your mind, implement that into an effective and real scenario that is a vision. There are some visions that are now and some for an appointed time according to the scriptures (Hab.2:3). Nothing major should take place without a vision.  It is written that YAHWEH ( LORD, GOD ) declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah46:10). Creation wasn’t made the way it is by chance but it was made for the hope of a new creation. There is no implementation of a vision without hope. There must be an expected end. Knowing this you can maneuver and adapt to change believing in the end result.  The most important parts of a building are the foundation and the roof.  The most important parts of a story is the opening and the conclusion.  It is written “despise not a small thing in its beginning” (Zech 4:10).  By knowing what the end result, change will not bring about fear because you know how to adapt every scenario to your vision.

Joseph had a dream that one day the sun moon and stars would give obeisance to him.  Later he was kidnapped and sold by his brothers, enslaved, falsely accused, imprisoned twice but his gift made room for him and sat him before Kings.  Most people could’ve given up but through all the changes of his life he was able to remain focused and conducted his behavior righteously towards his GOD.

Joseph also dreamed about a famine that took place and was able to interpret a dream to those for those in power so that preparation could be made to build an empire.

Jacob was blessed by his father Isaac only to be fun off by his brother that wanted to murder him. Jacob eventually fell in love with Rachel, his future wife and had to work for his Father in law for 14 years after running away from his brother who was going to murder him.  His father in law tried to short his wages but because he envisioned a life with his wife, he was able to build his home and his fortune based on the love of his wife and the future that he had envisioned for them. Eventually Jacob had to raise his family, leave his home, fight for his destiny, face the brother that wanted to murder him, bury his wife and move back home with his family.  He had to keep his visions at the forefront of his mind that through all the difficulties and changes he was able to remain a faithful man.

Life is full of changes, and changes often bring about a level of uncertainty. GOD designed his Spirit to keep us concrete in hope so that this world will not intimidate us through change but prepare us for the purpose and destiny that was created for us before the foundation of the WORLD!

Maturity (part 1 )

Image

The Word mature comes from a latin word maturus which means to ripe. The root word ma also means good. The latin word marturs denotes ripened at a good time. The word is also used to mean morning. Mature by English definition is –

a having completed natural growth and development :ripe;: having undergone maturation

b having attained a final or desired state

c having achieved a low but stable growth rate
d: of, relating to, or being an older adult :
e: of or relating to a condition of full development
f: characteristic of or suitable to a mature individual

Because the word “maturity” comes from a word meaning to be ripened it stands to say that to be mature stems from growing and developing from a root. If we use the example of a plant or a fruit, anything that matures must go through a growth process that involves the participation of elements other than itself. The seed that grows must be rooted in good soil, receive water and sunshine that will contribute to its growth.

Every man must go through a maturation process. A man does not mature by celebrating a birthday every year, growing hair on his arms or getting taller. A man must receive the necessary elements in order to develop and mature.

It has become more and more apparent that young men in today’s’ society lack the maturity to make sound decisions for the benefit of themselves and their families. Many young men run from responsibility, lack accountability, work ethics and dedication. All are qualities of adulthood that are learned over time. Every man needs the patience to be able to make a commitment. Patience is learned through experience; Knowing and understanding growth, vision, taking advantage of time to prepare and understand various task at hand. Because we live in a world that will sacrifice quality for time it is difficult to understand the role of a maturation process.

Nothing grows fast naturally. The order our Creator set in place that is that greatness starts small and has a course. Over time we use time to grow and develop. When the time is right, all of our hard work and dedication that were incorporated into our growth will take effect.

When we look at the growth of a seed, its growth is not determined by the seed at all. The fact that a seed exist does not mean that it of itself will grow. How the seed is watered, and the nutrients it receives from the sun and soil determines its growth. A seed must be planted, tended to, paid attention in order for the maturation process to take place. In the same token there are many factors that contribute to the maturation process of a young man. His environment, his parents, his education, discipline but most importantly his decisions all bear influence on a young man’s ability to mature.

A man does not look for maturity, life itself ensures that every man to go through the maturation process. It is up to a man whether or not to comply by gaining understanding and wisdom to make the right decisions so that he might be successful in life.

It is written in the scriptures

“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
1st Cor.13

The Apostle states that his comprehension and rationale were different between adulthood and childhood. When he “became a man” the writer states that he had to “PUT AWAY” childish things. This word put away does not remove as in forget what it is like to be a child or to remove any memory of behavior of childhood but the word comes from the greek word katergeo which means to render idle, make inactive and inoperative. Meaning the effect of his childhood whether good or bad will not weigh on the necessary demand of manhood.

Most psychologist resort to the childhood of an adult to find deep rooted problems. The ability to mature stands in the fact that a man is able to rise above any of the experiences of his childhood and render them powerless to the path of his destiny regardless of what things took place good or bad.

Life presents every man with the task to mature. As we age we learn more, experience more, increase in knowledge and become aware of many things. With this mindset must come the courage to make decisions based on what we know and learn and understand guided by Holy Spirit and the WORD OF GOD.

A man makes a decision to grow up, embracing what life has to offer and developing within life’s circumstances. The tears, the pain the laughter, and the joy all lend to a man growing up and taking on the character that will one day allow him to reach his ultimate potential and destiny.

“Life will still bring about turns but we can learn from it.” – The Testimony of Antoinnette Tuff

a-ANTOINETTE-TUFF-386x217

On Tuesday an armed 20-year-old gunman came into the  Discovery Learning Academy in Decatur, Georgia on a mass murder and suicide mission.  According to reports the young man, mentally disabled, void of his prescribed medication and depressed made up in his mind that this day would be the day he would die and take others with him.

When he walked into the office he ran into a bookkeeper by the name of Antoinette Tuff.  A black woman whose recently went through a divorce and was now a single mother with a disabled son and a daughter in college.

The gunman told Tuff to go on the intercom and tell everyone to lock the windows and call the news stations so that he could shoot off on responding police officers, then commit suicide.

While staring death in the face, Tuff calmly spoke to the young man who was armed with massive artillery. The young man was convinced that his life was over and spoke to him about her own experience. When asked, Ms Tuff said that she just spoke to him about her experiences on last year. She told him that her husband left her, that her son also suffered from disabilities and that she too at one point felt that her life was over and that no one loved her.  Tuff told the gunman that she was able to turn her life around. She was able to keep working, go to church, and now she is getting ready to start her own business. Tuff told the young man that “Life will still bring about turns but we can learn from it.”

After listening to the Tuff, the gunman eventually put the gun down and surrendered himself to the police.  No one was shot or even hurt.

It’s written in Jude 1:22 “And some have compassion, making a difference and others save with fear,”

I’m sure that Antoinette Tuff could’ve never imagined that while she was going through her trials that her experiences would eventually save the lives of hundreds of children and police officers.

It is difficult our lowest times to ever think we could come out of bad scenarios in our lives. If we can somehow arm ourselves with hope, allow our experiences not to make us bitter but better, and keep compassion in our hearts, our experiences can not only be life changing but life saving.

It is written

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2nd Cor. 4:17

Take the Stand

testify

Every day of our lives is full of purpose. There is nothing that we do that is futile, useless wasted. Our thoughts come before the presence of the Almighty GOD who seeks to perfect the things that concern us.

It is written that GOD has given us a “record,”   This word in Greek comes from the word “martus” where we get martyr from.  A martyr be definition is someone that is murdered for their beliefs.

However, death is not a testimony of your beliefs but LIFE is a testimony of your beliefs.  Your life is a testimony, it speaks, it makes a resounding sound when your mouth is closed.   The decisions that you make, the people that you are associated with, the things you do, the means by how you choose to express yourself, your behavior, how you respond to adversity and how you react in good times stands as a record to things that you believe.

What does your life say? What questions are your life answering, what message is your life sending?  Does your life encourage, does your life edify or will people look at your life as a testimony of how not to be? Does your life send out warning signs are does you life admonish those that you come in contact with?

We are living letters. Our lives are testimonies that when lived right are written with the Spirit of the Living GOD.

Let your record show, and take the stand to testify of what you assure to be true. Let life’s dictation to be that of strong beliefs and a determined will, not by your fears, failures or circumstances. Every Human being has been encoded with the DNA of GOD’s image created to dominate and overcome every aspect of your existence through the WILL AND POWER OF GOD!

Take the stand, be the exemplary figure for all Creation to admonish. Choose to obtain the character that displays the marks of the triumphant manifestation of GOD’s power.
